Blog Posting 3A

Since I will be working for Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) this blog will be very handy. I might even be contributing to it in the near future. It seems very informative with thoughts from senior leaders and experts within TRADOC. The blog also has links to other blogs for commands and bases. This is a great way to get information about TRADOC out to the masses. I believe that TRADOC is more of a learning organization than the rest of the ARMY. This blog gives other commands something to build off of and can help contribute to making the rest of the Army more of a learning organization. It will take much more than blogs to do this but it is a very good start.

I think this blog could add a great service and help recruiting links if they would put links there for Army recruiting. I know it sounds way out there but people do enlist in the military on impulses. I am a perfect example, I had no intention of joining the Marines and one day while in the mall I was approached by a recruiter and end of story. It could be as simple as someone reading a story on the blog and feeling the need to serve their country.

  1. You were approached by a recruiter at the mall...Luke, I didn't know that about you! Usually people who join the Marines do so because their family members were a part of the organization.

The TRADOC twitter is great, isn't it? Just as you shared, you can find out interesting facts. -LS
